हाथरस की दिल दहला देने वाली घटना के दो साल बाद बुलंदशहर में भी गैंगरेप की घटना सामने आई है। यहां खेत में काम करने गई किशोरी की गैंगरेप के बाद हत्या कर दी गई। हाथरस की तरह यहां पुलिस ने खुद तो शव नहीं जलाया, बल्कि परिवार को धमकाकर आधी रात को ही पीड़ित का अंतिम संस्कार करने को कथित रूप से मजबूर किया।
बुलंदशहर और अलीगढ़ की सरहद पर बसे गांव डिबाई-गालिबपुर में 21 जनवरी के इस मामले को पुलिस-प्रशासन ने डरा-धमकाकर दबा दिया था। साथ ही ये कहानी अखबारों को बताई कि प्रेम प्रसंग के मामले में लड़की की हत्या हुई। लड़के ने खुद को भी खत्म करने की कोशिश की। दैनिक भास्कर ने जब पूरे मामले की पड़ताल की तो कई चौंकाने वाले खुलासे सामने आ रहे हैं
