दिल्ली के उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने शनिवार को वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 के बजट में शिक्षा क्षेत्र के लिए 16,278 करोड़ रुपये के आवंटन की घोषणा की जिसका एक हिस्सा बेघर बच्चों के लिए बोर्डिंग स्कूल बनाने और एक स्कूल में विज्ञान संग्रहालय बनाने में खर्च किया जाएगा। शिक्षा मंत्रालय के साथ वित्त मंत्रालय का भी दायित्व संभालने वाले सिसोदिया ने विधानसभा में वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए 75,800 करोड़ रुपये का बजट पेश किया।
बजट भाषण में उन्होंने कहा, बच्चों को बुनियादी शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए कई पहलें की गई हैं लेकिन ये आंशिक तौर पर ही सफल हुई हैं। हमारा प्रस्ताव बेघर बच्चों के लिए बोर्डिंग स्कूल स्थापित करने का है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार दिल्ली के एक स्कूल में विद्यालय विज्ञान संग्रहालय बनाएगी और निजी स्कूलों में बिजनेस ब्लास्टर्स योजना भी शुरू करेगी। बिजनेस ब्लास्टर्स एक टीवी कार्यक्रम है जिसकी शुरुआत दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले वर्ष की थी। इसका उद्देश्य 11वीं और 12वीं कक्षा के छात्रों के व्यावसायिक विचारों में निवेश के लिए लोगों को आकर्षित करना है। वित्त वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए बजट आवंटन 69,000 करोड़ रुपये था। 2022-23 के लिए बजट आवंटन पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 9.86 प्रतिशत अधिक है। दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार का यह लगातार आठवां बजट है। सिसोदिया ने कहा कि 2022-23 का बजट ‘रोजगार बजट’ है।
