कांग्रेस की युवा इकाई भारतीय युवा कांग्रेस ने ‘अग्निपथ’ योजना को लेकर केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि इसे वापस लिए जाने तक वह अपना संघर्ष जारी रखेगी। युवा कांग्रेस की ओर से जारी बयान के अनुसार, संगठन की राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी की एक दिवसीय बैठक में यह संकल्प लिया गया कि इस योजना के खिलाफ आंदोलन तेज किया जाएगा।
अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के संगठन महासचिव वेणुगोपाल ने इस बैठक को संबोधित किया।
उन्होंने राहुल गांधी से प्रवर्तन निदेशालय की हालिया पूछताछ और ‘अग्निपथ’ योजना के खिलाफ प्रदर्शनों में युवा कांग्रेस के योगदान की तारीफ की। वेणुगोपाल ने कहा कि इस संघर्ष में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने वाले युवाओं को आगे प्रोत्साहित किया जाए। इस मौके पर युवा कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष श्रीनिवास बी. वी. ने कहा, हमारा मानना है कि ‘अग्निपथ’ योजना युवाओं के भविष्य को बर्बाद करने वाली है। जब तक सरकार इसे वापस नहीं लेती युवा कांग्रेस शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से इसका विरोध जारी रखेगी।
