नई दिल्ली। कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर खीरी जिले में दो बहनों की कथित तौर पर हत्या किये जाने की घटना को लेकर बृहस्पतिवार को भारतीय जनता पार्टी पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि बलात्कारियों को रिहा करवाने और उनका सम्मान करने वालों से महिला सुरक्षा की उम्मीद नहीं की जा सकती। उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, लखीमपुर में दिन-दहाड़े, दो नाबालिग, दलित बहनों के अपहरण के बाद उनकी हत्या, बेहद विचलित करने वाली घटना है।
राहुल गांधी ने भाजपा का नाम लिए बगैर उस पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा, बलात्कारियों को रिहा करवाने और उनका सम्मान करने वालों से महिला सुरक्षा की उम्मीद की भी नहीं जा सकती। हमें अपनी बहनों-बच्चियों के लिए देश में एक सुरक्षित माहौल बनाना ही होगा। लखीमपुर खीरी में दलित समुदाय से ताल्लुक रखने वाली दो बहनों के शव पेड़ से लटके पाए गए। परिवार वालों का आरोप है कि दोनों लड़कियों का अपहरण किया गया था।
