नई दिल्ली। कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुरादबाद में एक लड़की से कथित तौर पर सामूहिक बलात्कार और उत्तराखंड में एक लड़की की कथित हत्या की घटना पर दुख जताते हुए शनिवार को कहा कि इन मामलों ने सबका दिल दहला दिया है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि देश तभी आगे बढ़ेगा, जब महिलाएं सुरक्षित होंगी। इन दिनों ‘भारत जोड़ो यात्रा’ निकाल रहे राहुल गांधी ने ट्वीट किया, मुरादाबाद और उत्तराखंड में युवतियों के साथ जो घटनाएं हुई हैं, उन्होंने सबका दिल दहला दिया है।

पौड़ी के श्रीकोट की रहने वाली अंकिता भोगपुर क्षेत्र में वनतारा रिजॉर्ट में रिसेप्शनिस्ट के तौर पर काम करती थी और 19 सितंबर से लापता थी। पिछले दिनों उत्तर प्रदेश में मुरादाबाद जिले के भोजीपुर इलाके की एक कथित सामूहिक बलात्कार पीड़िता का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ, जिसमें वह कथित तौर पर सड़क पर निर्वस्त्र स्थिति में दिखाई देती है। पुलिस ने कहा कि घटना एक सितंबर को भोजपुर थाना क्षेत्र के एक गांव में हुई थी और पीड़िता के रिश्तेदार द्वारा सात सितंबर को दर्ज कराई गई शिकायत के आधार पर एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
