दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने सोमवार को केजरीवाल सरकार में स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन के मामले में जांच अधिकारी को नोटिस जारी किया। केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) के विशेष न्यायाधीश विकास ढुल ने जैन पर लगे आरोपों को लेकर सीबीआई की दलीलें सुनीं। सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत ने वरिष्ठ लोक अभियोजक से मैसर्स जे.जे आइडियल एस्टेट प्रा. लिमिटेड, आय से अधिक संपत्ति की गणना के आधार और वर्तमान मामले में कंपनियों को आरोपी नहीं बनाये जाने को लेकर स्पष्टीकरण मांगा।
सीबीआई के वरिष्ठ लोक अभियोजक पंकज गुप्ता ने आग्रह किया कि उपरोक्त प्रश्नों का उत्तर देने में उनकी सहायता करने के लिए मामले के जांच अधिकारी को सुनवाई की अगली तारीख के लिए बुलाया जाए। अदालत ने आरोपी सत्येंद्र जैन, आरोपी वैभव जैन और आरोपी अंकुश जैन को सुनवाई की अगली तारीख पर वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के जरिए अदालत में पेश करने का निर्देश दिया। उल्लेखनीय है कि प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत 2017 के सीबीआई के एक मामले के आधार पर जैन को मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के एक मामले में गिरफ्तार किया था, जिसमें उन पर चार कंपनियों के माध्यम से कथित रूप से जुड़ी हुई धन शोधन का आरोप लगाया गया था।
