प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी देश में कोविड-19 की ताजा स्थिति की बृहस्पतिवार को एक उच्च स्तरीय बैठक में समीक्षा करेंगे। आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने यह जानकारी दी। मालूम हो कि केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मनसुख मांडविया ने बुधवार को ही विश्वभर में तेजी से बढ़ते कोविड-19 के ताजा मामलों को देखते हुए एक समीक्षा बैठक की थी। इसके बाद उन्होंने लोगों को कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण से बचाव के नियमों का पालन करने, भीड़भाड़ वाली जगहों पर मास्क पहनने और टीकाकरण को लगातार जारी रखने की सलाह दी थी।
मांडविया ने अधिकारियों को सजग रहने और निगरानी तंत्र को मजबूत करने का निर्देश भी दिया था। उन्होंने एक ट्वीट में कहा था, “कुछ देशों में कोविड-19 के मामलों में वृद्धि के मद्देनजर आज विशेषज्ञों और अधिकारियों के साथ स्थिति की समीक्षा की। कोविड अभी खत्म नहीं हुआ है। मैंने सभी संबंधित लोगों को सजग रहने और निगरानी बढ़ाने के लिए कहा है। हम किसी भी स्थिति से निपटने के लिए तैयार हैं। पिछले कुछ दिनों से चीन सहित कई अन्य देशों में कोविड-19 संक्रमण के मामलों में वृद्धि देखी जा रही है।
