दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) सदन की शुक्रवार को होने वाली महत्वपूर्ण बैठक से पहले आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के पार्षद पवन सहरावत भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) में शामिल हो गए और उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व वाली पार्टी में ”भ्रष्टाचार’ के कारण उन्हें ”घुटन” महसूस हो रही थी। सहरावत ने यह भी आरोप लगाया कि वह आप पार्षदों को एमसीडी सदन की बैठक में ”हंगामा करने का निर्देश” दिए जाने से व्यथित थे।
बवाना से ‘आप’ पार्षद का भाजपा की दिल्ली इकाई के कार्यालय में पार्टी के कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष वीरेंद्र सचदेवा और महासचिव हर्ष मल्होत्रा ने स्वागत किया। इस मौके पर भाजपा की दिल्ली इकाई के कई अन्य नेता भी मौजूद थे। मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि आप के पार्षदों के बीच ‘असंतोष’ है और यही कारण है कि ‘क्रॉस वोटिंग’ को रोकने के मकसद से स्थायी समिति के सदस्यों के लिए मतदान करते समय उन्हें मोबाइल फोन ले जाने का निर्देश दिया गया था। दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) की बुधवार और बृहस्पतिवार को 15 बार स्थगित हुई बैठक स्थायी समिति के छह सदस्यों के चुनाव के लिए शुक्रवार को फिर से शुरू होगी।
