आबकारी नीति मामले में केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) द्वारा गिरफ्तार किए जाने के एक पखवाड़े बाद पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया का बंगला आतिशी को आवंटित कर दिया गया है, जिन्हें इस महीने की शुरुआत में मंत्रिमंडल में शामिल किया गया था। लोक निर्माण विभाग की ओर से 14 मार्च को जारी एक आधिकारिक पत्र के अनुसार आतिशी को पत्र जारी होने के आठ दिन के अंदर इसे अपनी स्वीकृति देने को कहा गया है। सिसोदिया मथुरा रोड पर एबी-17 बंगले में रहते थे, जिसमें पहले पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री शीला दीक्षित रहा करती थीं। आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) की सरकार बनने के बाद वर्ष 2015 में यह बंगला सिसोदिया को आवंटित किया गया था।
एक अधिकारी ने कहा, यह नियमित परंपरा रही है। सिसोदिया इस्तीफा दे चुके हैं, इसलिए यह बंगला आतिशी को आवंटित किया जाएगा। सिसोदिया कथित भ्रष्टाचार और सत्येंद्र जैन कथित धनशोधन मामले में तिहाड़ जेल में बंद हैं। उन्होंने हाल में मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। इसके बाद आतिशी और सौरभ भारद्वाज को मंत्रिमंडल में शामिल किया गया था। सीबीआई ने रद्द हो चुकी दिल्ली आबकारी नीति 2021-22 को तैयार व लागू करने में हुए कथित भ्रष्टाचार के लिए 26 फरवरी को सिसोदिया को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। वह 20 मार्च तक न्यायिक हिरासत में हैं।
