मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने बुधवार को कहा कि बजट पेश किए जाने के दिन दिल्लीवासी मनीष सिसोदिया को बहुत याद कर रहे हैं और पूर्व मंत्री द्वारा शुरू किए गए काम को दोगुनी गति से आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा। इस बार बजट वित्त मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत पेश करेंगे, जिन्हें उपमुख्यमंत्री सिसोदिया के इस्तीफे के बाद वित्त विभाग का प्रभार दिया गया है। केन्द्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) ने दिल्ली की आबकारी नीति घोटाला मामले में सिसोदिया को गिरफ्तार किया था। इसके बाद प्रतर्वन निदेशालय ने नीति से जुड़े धन शोधन के मामले में उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया। वह अभी जेल में हैं।
दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के सत्ता में आने के बाद से सरकार का बजट हमेशा सिसोदिया ने ही पेश किया है। केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट किया, आज दिल्ली का बजट पेश किया जाएगा। दिल्ली के सभी लोग आज मनीष जी को बहुत याद कर रहे हैं। पर उनके काम रुकने नहीं दिए जाएंगे। उनके द्वारा शुरू किए गए सभी काम दोगुनी गति से किए जाएंगे। ‘आप’ सरकार के स्पष्टीकरण के बाद केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने मंगलवार को दिल्ली के बजट को मंजूरी दे दी, जिससे दिल्ली विधानसभा में बजट पेश करने की राह साफ हो गई।
