दिल्ली मंत्रिमंडल ने मंगलवार को ‘मेकैनिकल स्वीपर’ (सफाई करने की मशीन) और धूल प्रदूषण नियंत्रित करने के लिए पानी का छिड़काव करने वाली मशीन की खरीद करने और बिजली सब्सिडी योजना को एक साल के लिए बढ़ाने का फैसला किया। मंत्रिमंडल ने एक बैठक में शारीरिक रूप से अशक्त व्यक्तियों को एक सरकारी एजेंसी के माध्यम से कृत्रिम अंग और अन्य सहायता प्रदान करने का भी निर्णय लिया। दिल्ली की मंत्री आतिशी और सौरभ भारद्वाज ने संवाददाता सम्मेलन में कहा कि मंत्रिमंडल ने मुख्यमंत्री अधिवक्ता कल्याण योजना के तहत ‘टर्म इंश्योरेंस’ और ‘मेडिक्लेम’ के विस्तार को मंजूरी दे दी है।
भारद्वाज ने कहा कि मंत्रिमंडल ने लोक निर्माण विभाग (पीडब्ल्यूडी) की बड़ी सड़कों से धूल साफ करने के लिए 70 ‘मेकैनिकल स्वीपिंग मशीन’ खरीदने के पर्यावरण विभाग के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी। भारद्वाज ने कहा कि ‘एंटी स्मॉग गन’ से लैस पानी का छिड़काव करने वाली 250 मशीन खरीदने का भी फैसला किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अगले सात से 10 वर्षों में इस पर 2,388 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जाएंगे और पहले साल में 257 करोड़ रुपये खर्च किए जाएंगे। आतिशी ने कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) और उपराज्यपाल द्वारा इसे रोकने की ”साजिश” के बावजूद मंत्रिमंडल ने अगले साल भी दिल्ली के लोगों को बिजली सब्सिडी देने का फैसला किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिन लोगों ने अक्टूबर से अब तक सब्सिडी के लिए आवेदन किया है, उन्हें यह 31 मार्च, 2024 तक मिलेगा।
