राज्यसभा सदस्य कपिल सिब्बल ने बुधवार को कहा कि कांग्रेस द्वारा ‘समाज को बांटने की राजनीति करने’ संबंधी प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की टिप्पणी उस स्थिति में वास्तविकता से दूर है जब उनकी सरकार में सेंसर बोर्ड ने एक ऐसी फिल्म को मंजूरी दी है कि जो ‘जहर फैलाती है। उन्होंने फिल्म ‘द केरल स्टोरी’ का हवाला देते हुए ट्वीट किया, ‘फिल्म ‘द केरल स्टोरी’ को सेंसर बोर्ड द्वारा मंजूरी दी गई। फिल्म जहर फैलाती है और एक पूरे समुदाय को गलत ढंग से प्रस्तुत करती है। कर्नाटक में प्रधानमंत्री कहते हैं कि कांग्रेस समाज को बांटने की राजनीति करती है। यह वास्तविक प्रतीत नहीं होता।’
उल्लेखनीय है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने मंगलवार को कर्नाटक विधानसभा चुनाव के प्रचार के दौरान कांग्रेस और जनता दल (एस) पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि ये दोनों समाज को बांटने की राजनीति करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा, ‘ये दोनों परिवारवादी हैं, दोनों भ्रष्टाचार को बढ़ावा देते हैं और दोनों समाज को बांटने की राजनीति करते हैं। इन दोनों दलों की प्राथमिकता कर्नाटक का विकास नहीं है। आपके बच्चों का भविष्य उनकी चिंता का विषय नहीं है।’
