केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) ने शुक्रवार को 12वीं कक्षा के परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित कर दिए और 87.33 प्रतिशत विद्यार्थियों ने इस बार सफलता हासिल की है जो पिछले साल के मुकाबले 5.38 प्रतिशत कम है। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बोर्ड ने विद्यार्थियों के अंकों के आधार पर उन्हें प्रथम, द्वितीय तथा तृतीय श्रेणी देने की प्रक्रिया से दूर रहने का फैसला किया है।
बोर्ड के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने कहा, सीबीएसई विद्यार्थियों के बीच अस्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा से बचने के लिए कोई मेरिट लिस्ट घोषित नहीं करेगा। हालांकि, बोर्ड 0.1 प्रतिशत विद्यार्थियों को प्रावीण्यता (मेरिट) प्रमाणपत्र जारी करेगा जिन्होंने विभिन्न विषयों में सर्वाधिक अंक हासिल किए हैं। पिछले साल सीबीएसई की 12वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा में 92.71 प्रतिशत विद्यार्थी पास हुए थे।
