इसके बाद मोदी राजकोट शहर के रेस कोर्स मैदान में एक बड़ी सभा को संबोधित करेंगे। सौराष्ट्र नर्मदा अवतरण सिंचाई (एसएयूएनआई) योजना के आठवें और नौवें चरण का काम हाल में पूरा हुआ है, प्रधानमंत्री इसे जनता को समर्पित करेंगे। विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया कि इससे 95 गांवों में 52,398 एकड़ सिंचाई योग्य भूमि को पानी और सौराष्ट्र क्षेत्र के लगभग 98,000 लोगों को पीने योग्य पानी उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम स्थल से ही प्रधानमंत्री एक ओवर-ब्रिज और एक नवनिर्मित पुस्तकालय का भी उद्घाटन करेंगे। विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि प्रधानमंत्री शुक्रवार को गांधीनगर में सेमीकंडक्टर्स से संबंधित ‘सेमीकॉन इंडिया 2023’ प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन करेंगे।
