प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि भारत के डिजिटल सार्वजनिक बुनियादी ढांचे (डीपीआई) पर विश्व बैंक का जी20 दस्तावेज देश में तेज प्रगति और नवोन्मेष का प्रमाण है। उन्होंने विश्व बैंक द्वारा तैयार जी20 रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि भारत ने केवल छह साल में वित्तीय समावेशन के लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिए हैं, अन्यथा इसमें कम से कम 47 साल लगते। उन्होंने ‘एक्स’ पर एक पोस्ट में कहा, डीपीआई के बदौलत वित्तीय समावेशन में भारत की लंबी छलांग! विश्व बैंक के जरिये तैयार किये जाने वाले एक जी20 दस्तावेज ने भारत के विकास के बारे में एक बहुत दिलचस्प बात साझा की है।
उन्होंने कहा, भारत ने केवल छह वर्षों की अवधि में वित्तीय समावेशन का लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया है, जिसे प्राप्त करने में कम से कम 47 वर्षों का लंबा वक्त लग सकता था। यह हमारी मजबूत डिजिटल भुगतान अवसंरचना और हमारी जनता के उत्साह की सरहाना है। यह तेज रफ्तार से होने वाली प्रगति और नवोन्मेष का प्रमाण भी है। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि रिपोर्ट में स्वीकार किया गया है कि मोदी के नेतृत्व में सरकार द्वारा निर्मित मजबूत जन धन, आधार और मोबाइल की तिकड़ी से जुड़े बुनियादी ढांचे ने लाखों लोगों को सशक्त बनाया है।
रिपोर्ट साझा करते हुए शाह ने कहा कि इसमें इस बात पर भी प्रकाश डाला गया है कि भारत ने प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण (डीबीटी) प्रणाली के माध्यम से 33 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर की बचत की है। उन्होंने कहा, हमारे राष्ट्र द्वारा बचाया गया एक-एक रुपया अमृत काल के दौरान पूरी तरह से विकसित राष्ट्र बनने के हमारे लक्ष्य की दिशा में एक कदम है।
विश्व बैंक द्वारा तैयार जी20 दस्तावेज में डिजिटल बदलाव में देशों की मदद करने में डीपीआई की क्षमता की वकालत करते हुए वित्तीय समावेशन के लिए आधार और यूपीआई समेत डिजिटल सार्वजनिक बुनियादी ढांचे की शक्ति का उपयोग करने में भारत के दृष्टिकोण की प्रशंसा की गई है।
