दिल्ली के गोकलपुरी थाना क्षेत्र के गोकलपुर गांव में कल देर रात आग लगने से सात लोगों की मौत हो गई। आग लगने से 30 झोपड़ियां जलकर राख हो गईं। दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने इस घटना पर दुख जताया है।
उत्तर पूर्वी दिल्ली के अतिरिक्त पुलिस उपायुक्त ने कहा कि गोकलपुरी थाना क्षेत्र में रात लगभग एक बजे आग लगने की सूचना मिली। तत्काल टीम को मौके पर बचाव उपकरणों के साथ भेजा गया। उन्होंने बताया कि हमने अग्निशमन विभाग से भी संपर्क किया, जिसने त्वरित कार्रवाई की। हम तड़के चार बजे तक आग बुझा सके तबतक सात लोगों की जलकर मौत हो चुकी थी। आग लगने से 30 झोपड़ियां जल गईं।
दिल्ली के सीएम ने ट्वीट किया, ‘सुबह सुबह ये दुःखद समाचार सुनने को मिला। मैं स्वयं वहां जाकर पीड़ित लोगों से मिलूंगा।’
दिल्ली फायर सर्विस ने बताया कि शुक्रवार देर रात लगभग एक बजे गोकलपुरी क्षेत्र के गोकलपुर गांव में झुग्गियों में आग लगने की सूचना मिली थी। मौके पर 13 गाड़ियां भेजी गईं।
