नई दिल्ली। वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि भारतीय पेटेंट कार्यालय ने इस वित्त वर्ष में 15 नवंबर तक सर्वाधिक 41,010 पेटेंट प्रदान किए हैं। गोयल ने सोशल मीडिया मंच ‘एक्स’ पर लिखा, यह एक रिकॉर्ड है। 2023-24 में सर्वाधिक पेटेंट दिए गए। इस पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि यह एक ”उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि” है। यह नवाचार-संचालित ज्ञान अर्थव्यवस्था की दिशा में भारत की यात्रा में एक मील का पत्थर है। उन्होंने कहा, भारत के युवाओं को इस तरह की प्रगति से काफी फायदा होगा।
प्रधानमंत्री ने हाल ही में कहा था कि भारत में पेटेंट आवेदनों में वृद्धि यहां के युवाओं के बढ़ते नवोन्मेषी उत्साह को दर्शाती है। यह भविष्य के लिए एक बहुत ही सकारात्मक संकेत है। विश्व बौद्धिक संपदा संगठन की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, 2022 में भारतीयों द्वारा पेटेंट आवेदनों में 31.6 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई थी।
