आयकर विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने कर निर्धारण की अवधि बढ़ाए जाने समेत अपनी विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर यहां आयकर भवन में सोमवार को धरना प्रदर्शन किया। कर्मचारियों ने आयकर राजपत्रित महासंघ एवं आयकर कर्मचारी महासंघ के बैनर तले धरना प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारी कर्मचारियों ने कहा कि आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 में संशोधन के बाद नए कर निर्धारण आदेश पारित करने में कम से कम 50 से 60 दिन की आवश्यकता होती है, लेकिन क्षेत्राधिकार कर निर्धारण अधिकारी के पास बहुत सारी सूचनाएं एवं मामले भेजे जा रहे हैं, जिन्हें 31 मार्च तक निपटाना है जो काफी मुश्किल होगा।
उन्होंने मांग की कि कर निर्धारण की अवधि को बढ़ाया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कर्मचारियों के बैठने की उचित व्यवस्था एवं उनके लिए आवास आदि उपलब्ध कराए जाने की भी मांग की। आयकर राजपत्रित महासंघ के सचिव विशंभर झा ने कहा कि उन्होंने आयकर विभाग के आला अधिकारियों के समक्ष अपनी मांग रखीं, लेकिन अभी तक कोई उचित कार्रवाई नहीं की गई।
