भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) ने शनिवार को कहा कि कांग्रेस के पास कई बैंक खाते हैं तथा कर बकाये का भुगतान नहीं करने को लेकर उनमें से महज तीन-चार खाते कुर्क किये गये हैं न कि उन्हें ‘फ्रीज’ किया गया है। भाजपा ने साथ ही कांग्रेस पर लोकसभा चुनाव में अपनी ‘आसन्न’ हार को भांपकर इस मुद्दे पर भ्रामक बयान देने का आरोप लगाया। भाजपा के प्रवक्ता संबित पात्रा ने कहा, ” इन बैंक खातों को ‘फ्रीज’ (लेनदेन पर पूर्ण रोक)नहीं किया गया है, वे चालू हैं। आप (कांग्रेस के लोग) 125 करोड़ रुपये छोड़कर इन खातों में पैसे निकाल सकते हैं और जमा कर सकते हैं। आयकर विभाग ने इन खातों में जमा 125 करोड़ रुपये की राशि कर बकाये का भुगतान नहीं करने के कारण आयकर नियमों के तहत कुर्क की है।” मीडिया की खबरों का हवाला देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के पास विभिन्न बैंक खातों में करीब 1000 करोड़ रुपये जमा हैं और ये खाते ‘पार्टी के ही संविधान के विपरीत’ विभिन्न ‘पैन नंबर’ से खुलवाये गये हैं।
भाजपा नेता ने दावा किया कि कांग्रेस के पास 500 करोड़ रुपये की अचल संपत्ति भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि आयकर विभाग ने 135 करोड़ रुपये के बकाये का भुगतान नहीं करने के कारण कांग्रेस के तीन-चार बैंक खातों को नियमानुसार कुर्क किया है। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने दावा किया था कि कांग्रेस के बैंक खातों को ‘फ्रीज’ किये जाने के बाद पार्टी के पास ट्रेन का टिकट बुक करने के लिए भी पैसे नहीं है। इस बयान पर निशाना साधते हुए पात्रा ने कहा, ‘राहुल गांधी कह रहे हैं कि कांग्रेस के पास ट्रेन टिकट खरीदने के लिए भी पैसे नहीं है लेकिन वह रोजाना विशेष विमान में यात्रा करते दिखाई देते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस नेता को इस मुद्दे पर ‘राजनीतिक’करने के बजाय ‘तकनीकी जवाब’ देना चाहिए।
पात्रा ने भाजपा मुख्यालय में संवाददाता सम्मेलन में कहा, (कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष) मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे, (पूर्व कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष) सोनिया गांधी एवं राहुल गांधी ने इस संबंध में संवाददाता सम्मेलन किया और लोकसभा में करारी हार नजर आने पर अपने दावे के समर्थन में गलत बयानी करके जनता की अदालत से अग्रिम जमानत ली। पात्रा ने कांग्रेस की उसके इस आरोप को लेकर भी आलोचना की कि उसने वित्त व्यवस्था को ‘धराशायी’ करके चुनाव में समान अवसर से उसे वंचित कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने मुख्य विपक्षी दल पर तंज कसते हुए सवाल किया, पुलिस और डकैत को कैसे समान अवसर मिलेगा।
