अपनी मां की हत्या करने के कुछ दिनों बाद रविवार को रोहिणी में 25 वर्षीय एक व्यक्ति ने अपने घर में कथित तौर पर आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी। पुलिस ने बताया कि मृतकों की पहचान क्षितिज और मिथिलेश (मां) के रूप में हुई है। उन्होंने बताया कि मिथिलेश विधवा है। पुलिस के मुताबिक, दो-तीन दिन पहले मिथिलेश की हत्या कर दी गई थी और उनका शव स्नान गृह में पड़ा मिला था। वहीं, रविवार को बेटे ने चाकू मारकर खुदकुशी कर ली।
उन्होंने बताया कि घर से दुर्गंध आने पर पड़ोसियों द्वारा रात करीब आठ बजे पुलिस नियंत्रण कक्ष को कॉल करने के बाद यह मामला सामने आया। पुलिस उपायुक्त (रोहिणी) प्रणव तायल ने कहा, हमें घटनास्थल से क्षितिज द्वारा लिखा गया करीब 77 पृष्ठों का एक सुसाइड नोट भी मिला है। नोट में क्षितिज ने स्वीकार किया है कि उसने बृहस्पतिवार को अपनी मां की हत्या की थी।
