दिल्ली में दो महीने बाद होने वाले एमसीडी के चुनाव को लेकर अभी से सियासी सूरमाओं ने एक-दूसरे पर आरोप-प्रत्यारोप लगाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। भाजपा दिल्ली में हुए कामों को गिना रही है तो वहीं आप के नेता एमसीडी की खामियों को गिनाने में लगी है। भाजपा की केंद्रीय राज्य मंत्री मीनाक्षी लेखी ने दिल्ली सरकार और एमसीडी के कामों की तुलना करते हुए एमसीडी के कामों को बेहतर बताने पर आम आदमी पार्टी ने पलटवार किया है। आप नेता दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि भाजपा शासित एमसीडी दिल्ली में क्या किया है, उसका नज़ारा तब दिखाई देता है जब आप सड़कों पर घूमते हैं।

आज दिल्ली की सड़कें और नालियां कूड़े से भरी पड़ी हैं। उन्होंने भाजपा सांसद द्वारा एमसीडी स्कूलों को बेहतर कहने को हास्यापद बताया है। दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि मैं उनसे कहना चाहूंगा कि पूरी दिल्ली जानती है कि दिल्ली सरकार स्कूल बेहतर है या एमसीडी के। उन्होंने जो प्रचार और काम करने में अंतर बताया है मैं उनकी बात से सहमत हूं। वाकई भाजपा शासित एमसीडी प्रचार करते वक्त तो जनता से बड़े-बड़े वादे करती है, विकास की बड़ी-बड़ी बातें करती है, लेकिन उनके काम उसके बिल्कुल विपरीत हैं। विकास के नाम पर उन्होंने दिल्ली को गंदा कर रखा है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा ने निगम में रहते हुए दिल्ली में क्या किया है, उसका शानदार नज़ारा तब दिखाई देता है जब आप सड़कों पर घूमते हैं। वहीं उनके कामों की असली रिपोर्ट है।
