दिल्ली की कैबिनेट मंत्री आतिशी ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को जेड प्लस सुरक्षा मिली हुई है और आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) की हिरासत में उनकी सुरक्षा को लेकर चिंतित है। ईडी ने आबकारी नीति से जुड़े धन शोधन के एक मामले के संबंध में बृहस्पतिवार को केजरीवाल को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आतिशी ने यहां एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में कहा कि भारत के लोकतांत्रिक इतिहास में पहली बार लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले किसी राष्ट्रीय पार्टी के प्रमुख को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा, ”ईडी एक भी सबूत पेश नहीं कर पायी है। यह दिखाता है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) केजरीवाल से कितना डरी हुई है।’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘वे जानते हैं कि केवल एक ही नेता उन्हें चुनौती दे सकता है इसलिए वे अरविंद केजरीवाल और ‘आप’ को कुचलने का हरसंभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं।’
आतिशी ने कहा कि केजरीवाल एक विचारधारा, एक प्रेरणा हैं। कैबिनेट मंत्री ने कहा, ‘लोकतंत्र को बचाने के लिए उन्होंने अपनी आयकर विभाग की नौकरी छोड़ दी और सड़कों पर उतर आए। आपने लोकसभा चुनाव में उन्हें प्रचार करने से रोकने के लिए गिरफ्तार किया है। लोकतंत्र को बचाने के लिए कई केजरीवाल पैदा होंगे।’ आतिशी ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी ईडी की हिरासत में केजरीवाल की सुरक्षा को लेकर चिंतित है। उन्होंने कहा, ‘दिल्ली का मुख्यमंत्री होने के नाते केजरीवाल को जेड प्लस सुरक्षा दी गयी है। अब वह ईडी की हिरासत में हैं। केजरीवाल की सुरक्षा के लिए कौन जिम्मेदार होगा? ईडी कार्यालय में उनके लॉक-अप में कौन घुस रहा है? केंद्र को वहां उनकी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर जवाब देना होगा।’ उन्होंने भाजपा पर केजरीवाल तथा विपक्षी नेताओं के खिलाफ ‘राजनीतिक षडयंत्र” रचने का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा, ‘अगर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों का सामना कर रहे नेता भाजपा में शामिल हो जाते हैं तो उनके मामलों की जांच नहीं की जाती है।
हेमंत सोरेन को गिरफ्तार किया गया और कांग्रेस के बैंक खाते फ्रीज कर दिए गए। यह चुनावों को प्रभावित करने का प्रयास है।’ आतिशी ने कहा, ‘विपक्ष और आम आदमी पार्टी के खिलाफ आप जो भी साजिश रच रहे हैं, दिल्ली, पंजाब और इस देश के लोग आपको मुंहतोड़ जवाब देंगे।’ ‘आप’ ने केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के बाद भाजपा के खिलाफ देशव्यापी प्रदर्शन का आह्वान किया है। आतिशी ने कहा, ‘हम भाजपा के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करेंगे। प्रदर्शन का डर सड़कों पर दिख रहा है। दिल्ली में ‘आप’ मुख्यालय को एक किले में तब्दील कर दिया गया है। पार्टी के कार्यालय के बाहर 2,000-2,500 पुलिस कर्मी तैनात हैं। कई अर्द्धसैन्य बलों को भी तैनात किया गया। देशभर से पुलिस और अर्द्धसैन्य कर्मियों को यहां बुलाया गया है।
