दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल और पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान मंगलवार को मध्यप्रदेश की राजधानी भोपाल में एक रैली को संबोधित करेंगे। मध्यप्रदेश में इस साल के अंत में विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं और आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) इस रैली में एक लाख की भीड़ जुटाने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रही है। आप को उम्मीद है कि वह मध्यप्रदेश की राजनीति में अपनी छाप छोड़ेगी। मध्यप्रदेश में अब तक दो दलों भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) और कांग्रेस के बीच ही टक्कर रही है। भाजपा पिछले दो दशकों में केवल 15 महीने छोड़कर अधिकतर समय सत्ता पर काबिज है। पूर्व प्रदेश आप अध्यक्ष पंकज सिंह ने पीटीआई-भाषा को बताया, ”हम यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कड़ी मेहनत कर रहे हैं कि मंगलवार को भोपाल के भेल दशहरा मैदान में हमारी रैली में एक लाख लोग शामिल हों। इसके बाद हम राज्य के सभी संभागीय मुख्यालयों में इतनी बड़ी रैलियां करने जा रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि चार फरवरी को पार्टी के संगठन महासचिव संदीप पाठक द्वारा इसके लिए अभियान शुरू किए जाने के बाद से आप ने पांच लाख से अधिक सदस्य बनाए हैं। पंजाब और गुजरात में आप की रणनीति बनाने वालों में से एक माने जाने वाले पाठक ने मध्यप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों के तहत भोपाल, इंदौर, रीवा, ग्वालियर और जबलपुर का दौरा कर चुके हैं। मध्यप्रदेश की सभी 230 विधानसभा सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ने की हाल में घोषणा करने वाली आप पिछले साल जुलाई-अगस्त में स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों में अपने प्रदर्शन से उत्साहित है।
अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व वाली आप ने मध्यप्रदेश में अपने पहले ही नगरीय निकाय चुनाव में 6.3 प्रतिशत वोट शेयर हासिल करने का दावा किया है। सिंह ने बताया, ”हमें शहरी निकाय चुनावों में 6.3 प्रतिशत वोट मिले। प्रदेश के कुल 14 नगर निगमों के लिए हुए महापौर पद के चुनाव में हमारी पार्टी का उम्मीदवार सिंगरौली से जीता और ग्वालियर एवं रीवा में हम तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। ग्वालियर में हमें लगभग 46,000 मत मिले।
उन्होंने कहा कि शहरी निकायों में पार्षदों के पदों के लिए आप ने लगभग 1,500 उम्मीदवारों को मैदान में उतारा था, जिनमें से 40 जीते थे, जबकि 135 से 140 दूसरे नंबर पर रहे। सिंह ने दावा किया कि गैर दलीय आधार पर हुए पंचायत चुनावों में आप समर्थित उम्मीदवारों ने जिला पंचायत सदस्यों के 10 पदों, 23 जनपद सदस्यों, 103 सरपंचों और 250 पंचों पर जीत हासिल की। आप ने पंजाब में भारी जीत हासिल की थी, जिसमें उसके उम्मीदवारों ने कांग्रेस और शिरोमणि अकाली दल के कई दिग्गजों को हराया था। गुजरात में आप ने कई कल्याणकारी कदमों का वादा करते हुए जोरदार प्रचार अभियान चलाया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप उसे 182 सदस्यीय सदन में 13 प्रतिशत वोट शेयर के साथ पांच सीटें मिली।
मध्यप्रदेश में 2018 के चुनावों में त्रिशंकु विधानसभा बनी थी, जिसमें कांग्रेस 230 सदस्यीय सदन में 114 सीटों के साथ सबसे बड़ी पार्टी के रूप में उभरी थी। भाजपा ने 109 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की थी। कांग्रेस ने कमलनाथ के नेतृत्व में गठबंधन सरकार बनाई, लेकिन मार्च 2020 में ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया के वफादार कई विधायकों के भाजपा में शामिल होने के बाद यह गिर गई, जिससे शिवराज सिंह चौहान के नेतृत्व में 23 मार्च 2020 में फिर से भाजपा सरकार बनी।
