लोकसभा चुनाव को लेकर आम आदमी पार्टी ने अपने पत्ते खोलने शुरू कर दिए हैं। आप ने दिल्ली की चार और हरियाणा की एक सीट के लिये मंगलवार को उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा की। पार्टी ने वरिष्ठ नेता सोमनाथ भारती को नयी दिल्ली सीट से मैदान में उतारा है। दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री और पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल की अध्यक्षता में पार्टी की राजनीतिक मामलों की समिति की बैठक के बाद पांच नामों की घोषणा की गई।
आप ने दिल्ली जल बोर्ड के उपाध्यक्ष सोमनाथ भारती को नयी दिल्ली निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से, कोंडली के विधायक कुलदीप कुमार को पूर्वी दिल्ली सीट से, सहीराम पहलवान को दक्षिणी दिल्ली से और पूर्व सांसद महाबल मिश्रा को पश्चिमी दिल्ली लोकसभा क्षेत्र से मैदान में उतारा है। पार्टी ने राज्यसभा के पूर्व सदस्य सुशील गुप्ता को हरियाणा के कुरुक्षेत्र से अपना उम्मीदवार घोषित किया है। पार्टी ने दिल्ली में लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए विपक्षी गठबंधन ‘इंडिया’ की अपने सहयोगी कांग्रेस से हाथ मिलाया है। सीट बंटवारे को लेकर दोनों दलों के बीच हुए समझौते के तहत आप दिल्ली में चार और कांग्रेस तीन लोकसभा सीट पर चुनाव लड़ेगी। राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में लोकसभा की कुल सात सीट है।
