भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) ने ”संकल्प सत्याग्रह” को लेकर रविवार को कांग्रेस की आलोचना की और आरोप लगाया कि वह देश के पूरे पिछड़े समुदाय के खिलाफ राहुल गांधी की टिप्पणी को सही ठहराने के लिए देश के संविधान और अदालत के फैसले के खिलाफ आंदोलन कर रही है। भाजपा प्रवक्ता सुधांशु त्रिवेदी ने यहां संवाददाता सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कांग्रेस के आंदोलन को महात्मा गांधी का ‘अपमान’ करार देते हुए कहा कि राष्ट्रपिता ने सामाजिक मुद्दों के लिए सत्याग्रह किया था, जबकि कांग्रेस निजी कारणों से तथाकथित सत्याग्रह कर रही है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि गुजरात में मानहानि के एक मामले में गांधी को दोषी ठहराए जाने और अदालत के फैसले के परिणामस्वरूप लोकसभा सदस्य के रूप में उन्हें स्वत: अयोग्य करार दिए जाने के बाद कांग्रेस का आंदोलन उसके अहंकार का निर्लज्ज प्रदर्शन है।
उन्होंने कहा कि आंदोलन का सच्चाई के लिए लड़ने से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। त्रिवेदी ने कहा, ”संपूर्ण लोकतंत्र के प्रति अपमानजनक टिप्पणी करने वाले लोग, सत्याग्रह के नाम पर महात्मा गांधी की समाधि पर जो कर रहे हैं, उसमें सत्य के प्रति कोई आग्रह नहीं, बल्कि अहंकार का दुराग्रह निर्लज्जता के साथ दिख रहा है। भाजपा नेता ने कहा कि गांधी को सूरत की एक अदालत ने उचित कानूनी प्रक्रिया के बाद दोषी ठहराया और लोकसभा सदस्य के रूप में उन्हें अयोग्य ठहराया जाना संबंधित कानून के तहत स्वत: हुआ है।
भाजपा नेता ने पूछा, फिर सत्याग्रह किस लिए? उन्होंने कांग्रेस से स्पष्टीकरण की मांग करते हुए कहा, ”क्या यह देश के पूरे पिछड़े समुदाय का अपमान करने के तरीके को सही ठहराने के लिए है या उस अदालत के खिलाफ जिसने आपको सजा सुनाई है या उस प्रावधान के खिलाफ जिसके तहत आपको अयोग्य ठहराया गया है? यह उल्लेख करते हुए कि 1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगों में कथित तौर पर शामिल कुछ कांग्रेस नेता भी पार्टी के आंदोलन में भाग ले रहे थे, भाजपा नेता ने विपक्षी दल से यह स्पष्ट करने को भी कहा कि क्या राजघाट में महात्मा गांधी के समाधि स्थल पर आयोजित उनका सत्याग्रह भी अहिंसा के खिलाफ है।
कांग्रेस ने पार्टी के पूर्व प्रमुख राहुल गांधी को लोकसभा की सदस्यता से अयोग्य ठहराये जाने के खिलाफ रविवार को राष्ट्रव्यापी प्रदर्शन किया। इसी कड़ी में राजघाट पर आयोजित सत्याग्रह को संबोधित करती हुई कांग्रेस महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाद्रा ने कहा कि देश को जोड़ने के लिए हज़ारों किलोमीटर चलने वाला शहीद प्रधानमंत्री का बेटा कभी भी देश का अपमान नहीं कर सकता है। प्रियंका ने कहा कि समय आ गया है कि ‘अहंकारी सरकार’ के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई जाए, क्योंकि राहुल गांधी को चुनाव लड़ने से रोकना देश और इसके लोकतंत्र के लिए अच्छा नहीं है।
