कांग्रेस ने उत्तर प्रदेश के रामपुर में दो पक्षों की झड़प के दौरान एक दलित किशोर की मौत होने की घटना की निंदा करते हुए बुधवार को कहा कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के ‘रामराज्य’ में दलितों और पिछड़ों पर लगातार अत्याचार हो रहा है। रामपुर जिले में एक विवादित जमीन पर बाबा साहब डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर की तस्वीर वाले ‘होर्डिंग’ लगाने को लेकर दो पक्षों में हुई झड़प के दौरान गोली लगने से एक दलित किशोर की मौत हो गयी तथा दो लोग घायल हो गए। पुलिस ने बताया कि घटना मंगलवार को मिलक इलाके के सिलाई बाड़ा गांव की है।
कांग्रेस नेता उदित राज ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, भाजपा का रामराज्य पिछड़े, दलित, महिला, आदिवासियों के लिए मनुराज है। उत्तर प्रदेश के रामपुर स्थित बड़ागांव में कुछ अधिकारी पुलिस बल व दबंगों के साथ पहुंचे थे। जहां दलित छात्र सुमेश कुमार की हत्या कर दी गई। उनकी गलती यही थी कि ये गड्ढे को पाटकर बाबा साहेब का बोर्ड लगाना चाह रहे थे। ” उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि उत्तर प्रदेश में दलितों और पिछड़ों पर इस तरह से निरंतर अत्याचार हो रहा है। उदित राज ने दावा किया कि जबसे केंद्र में भाजपा आई है, तबसे सरकारी नौकरियां खत्म की जा रही हैं और आरक्षित वर्ग के युवाओं के साथ अन्याय हो रहा है।
