नई दिल्ली। कांग्रेस ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी पर आरक्षण के संदर्भ में उसके खिलाफ झूठ फैलाने का शनिवार को आरोप लगाया और कहा कि उसकी ही सरकारों में अनुसूचित जाति (एससी), अनुसूचित जनजाति (एसटी) और अन्य पिछड़े वर्गों (ओबीसी) के लिए नौकरियों और शिक्षा में आरक्षण सुनिश्चित हुआ। पार्टी महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने दावा किया कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी के आरक्षण के खिलाफ है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने हाल में कई चुनावी जनसभा में आरोप लगाए हैं कि कांग्रेस एससी, एसटी एवं ओबीसी के आरक्षण को मुस्लिम समुदाय को देना चाहती है। रमेश ने एक वीडियो जारी कर आरोप लगाया कि प्रधानमंत्री बार-बार यह झूठ फैला रहे हैं कि कांग्रेस एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी के आरक्षण को छीनना चाहती है।
रमेश ने कहा, असली बात यह है कि संविधान में एससी, एसटी के आरक्षण के प्रावधान बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर, पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू, सरदार पटेल और उस वक्त के कई अन्य कांग्रेसी नेताओं के कारण ही हो सके। इसमें कांग्रेस पार्टी का योगदान था। उनके मुताबिक, 1994 में जब नरसिम्हा राव भारत के प्रधानमंत्री थे तब सरकारी नौकरियों में 27 प्रतिशत आरक्षण ओबीसी के लिए लागू किया गया और 2006 में जब मनमोहन सिंह प्रधानमंत्री थे उस वक्त उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में ओबीसी को 27 प्रतिशत आरक्षण मिला। कांग्रेस नेता ने कहा, असली बात यह है की 1950 से एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी को नौकरियों और शिक्षा में आरक्षण प्रधानमंत्री कांग्रेस पार्टी से होने पर या कांग्रेस की सरकारों के समय ही मिला।
रमेश ने कहा कि जब महिला आरक्षण विधेयक संसद से पारित किया जा रहा था उस समय कांग्रेस ने मांग की थी कि इसमें ओबीसी महिलाओं के लिए अलग प्रावधान होना चाहिए लेकिन सरकार ने मना कर दिया और प्रधानमंत्री इस पर कुछ नहीं बोले। उन्होंने कहा कि एक ऐसा नया कानून बन गया जिसमें ओबीसी महिलाओं के लिए अलग प्रावधान नहीं है। रमेश ने दावा किया, असली बात है कि भाजपा ही एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी के आरक्षण के खिलाफ है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी ने सुनिश्चित किया कि शिक्षा और रोजगार में एससी, एसटी और ओबीसी के लिए आरक्षण हो। कांग्रेस और उसके शीर्ष नेता इस लोकसभा चुनाव में लगातार यह आरोप लगा रहे हैं कि भाजपा संविधान बदलने और आरक्षण खत्म करने के प्रयास में है।
