दिल्ली में कोविड-19 के 2,423 नये मामले सामने आये और संक्रमण दर 14.97 प्रतिशत दर्ज की गई जो 22 जनवरी के बाद से सबसे अधिक है। वहीं संक्रमण की वजह से दो और व्यक्तियों की मौत हो गई। यह जानकारी स्वास्थ्य विभाग के आंकड़े से मिली। 22 जनवरी को, संक्रमण दर 16.4 प्रतिशत थी। यह लगातार पांचवां दिन है जब दैनिक मामलों की संख्या 2,000 से ऊपर रही है। लगातार सात दिनों से संक्रमण दर 10 फीसदी से ऊपर बना हुआ है।
स्वास्थ्य विभाग के बुलेटिन में कहा गया है कि रविवार को नये मामले पिछले दिन किए गए 16,186 कोविड-19 जांच से सामने आए। कोविड-19 के नये मामलों के साथ ही दिल्ली में कुल मामलों की संख्या बढ़कर 19,69,527 हो गई है जबकि मृतक संख्या 26,330 हो गई। दिल्ली में उपचाराधीन मामलों की संख्या 8,048 है, जो पिछले दिन 7,349 थी। बुलेटिन में कहा गया है कि 5,173 मरीज घर पर पृथकवास में हैं। दिल्ली के विभिन्न अस्पतालों में कोविड-19 रोगियों के लिए आरक्षित 9,407 बिस्तरों में से 464 पर मरीज भर्ती हैं। इसमें कहा गया है कि कोविड देखभाल केंद्रों और कोविड स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों में बिस्तर खाली पड़े हैं।
