दिल्ली के बवाना इलाके में भागकर शादी करने से इनकार करने पर एक युवक ने अपनी प्रेमिका पर चाकू से ताबड़तोड़ वार कर उसकी बेरहमी से उसकी हत्या कर दी। घटना को अंजाम देकर आरोपी फरार हो गया। लेकिन राहगीर की सूचना पर पुलिस ने हमलावर का पीछा किया और उसे दबोच लिया। पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से हत्या में इस्तेमाल चाकू बरामद कर लिया है। आरोपी पेशे से ड्राइवर है। पुलिस हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर जांच कर रही है।

पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार शुक्रवार देर रात करीब पौने 12 बजे बवाना निवासी मोहन ने पुलिस को सूचना दी कि के ब्लॉक सेक्टर दो बवाना के एक खाली प्लॉट में एक युवक ने युवती को चाकू से गोद दिया है। सूचना मिलते ही गश्त कर रहे पुलिसकर्मी मौके पर पहुंच गए। पुलिसकर्मियों ने देखा कि युवती के शरीर पर चाकू से बेरहमी से वार किए गए थे। युवती लहूलुहान हालत में पड़ी थी। पुलिस घायल युवती को तुरंत पास के अस्पताल में लेकर गई, जहां उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया।

वहीं पुलिस की दूसरी टीम को मोहन के बताने पर आरोपी युवक का पीछा करने लगी। इसी बीच अपनी बहन की गुमशुदगी की शिकायत करने शिवम नाम का युवक थाने पहुंचा। उसने पुलिस को बताया कि उसकी बहन दोपहर तीन बजे से गायब है। उसकी पहचान मृत युवती दीपा (18) के तौर पर हुई। वह अपने परिवार के साथ इंद्रराज कॉलोनी में रहती थी।
