गाजियाबाद में आज सुबह नेहरू नगर स्थित पंजाब नेशनल बैंक की एक शाखा के लॉकर में रखे करीब 70 लाख रुपये के गहने चोरी हो गए। घटना के बाद से बैंक में हड़कंप मच गया है।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। पुलिस को शक है कि बैंक कर्मचारियों की सांठगांठ से लॉकर से लाखों रुपये के गहने चोरी हुए हैं। इस घटना के बाद से ही बैंक कर्मचारियों में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है। एक खाताधारक के लॉकर से चोरी होने की सूचना के बाद अन्य खाता धारक भी अपने लॉकर देखने बैंक पहुंचे हैं।
इस मामले पीएनबी के मुख्य शाखा प्रबंधक संदीप कुमार श्रीवास्तव का कहना है कि इस संबंध में जानकारी मिली है। लॉकर होल्डर की चाबी से लॉकर ना खुलने पर लॉकर होल्डर की उपस्थिति में लॉकर तुड़वाया गया था। वहीं खाताधारक लॉकर से सामान चोरी होने का दावा कर रहे हैं। प्रबंधक का कहना है कि खाताधारक लॉकर में क्या रख रहे हैं। इस संबंध में बैंक को जानकारी नहीं होती है।
