नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने सोमवार को एक जनहित याचिका पर केंद्र सरकार से जवाब मांगा जिसमें आरोप लगाया गया है कि लोकसेवकों और रक्षाकर्मियों के जरिए सरकार की पिछले नौ वर्षों की उपलब्धियों का प्रचार किया जा रहा है। कार्यवाहक मुख्य न्यायाधीश मनमोहन की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने कहा कि सरकार की कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के प्रचार को लेकर कोई आपत्ति नहीं होनी चाहिए, लेकिन केंद्र सरकार के वकील को पिछले नौ वर्ष में किए गए कार्यों के प्रचार के बारे में दिशानिर्देश प्राप्त करने चाहिए।
याचिकाकर्ताओं-ईएएस शर्मा और जगदीप एस. छोकर की ओर से पेश वकील प्रशांत भूषण ने कहा कि सैनिकों को रक्षा मंत्रालय के कार्यों का प्रचार करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं और आगामी चुनावों में सत्तारूढ़ दल के वास्ते प्रचार करने के लिए लोकसेवकों को ‘विकसित भारत संकल्प यात्रा’ के लिए विशेष अधिकारियों के रूप में तैनात किया जा रहा है। अतिरिक्त सॉलिसिटर जनरल चेतन शर्मा ने याचिका का विरोध किया और कहा कि याचिकाकर्ताओं का यह मानना गलत है कि सरकार और राजनीतिक दल एक हैं। उन्होंने कहा, भारत सरकार और पार्टी अलग-अलग हैं। इस मामले में सरकार की बात हो रही है और सरकार ऐसा कर सकती है। हम नौ साल के कार्यों के प्रचार के बारे में निर्देश मांगेंगे। मामले की अगली सुनवाई पांच जनवरी को होगी।
