दिल्ली के उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने बृहस्पतिवार को दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति योगेश सिंह को एक पत्र लिखकर राज्य सरकार द्वारा पूरी तरह या आंशिक रूप से वित्त पोषित 28 कॉलेजों में से कुछ में स्थायी शिक्षक की नियुक्ति के लिए निर्धारित साक्षात्कार रद्द करने के लिए कहा। पत्र में मंत्री ने आरोप लगाया कि नियुक्तियां सरकार की सहमति के बिना की जा रही हैं और इस तरह के फैसले राज्य सरकार पर वित्तीय प्रभाव डालते हैं। पत्र में कहा गया है, “जीएनसीटीडी (राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली क्षेत्र सरकार)द्वारा वित्त पोषित 28 कॉलेजों में से कुछ में स्थायी पदों के लिए साक्षात्कार आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।
मैं शिक्षण के महत्वपूर्ण पदों को भरने के लिए साक्षात्कार आयोजित करने के महत्व को समझता हूं लेकिन इन कॉलेजों के लिए लिया गया कोई भी वित्तीय निर्णय जीएनसीटीडी पर भी वित्तीय प्रभाव डालता है। साथ ही इसमें कहा गया है, “इसलिए, निर्धारित साक्षात्कार को तत्काल प्रभाव से रद्द किया जाए। सिसोदिया ने पत्र में योगेश सिंह को निर्देश दिया कि वे पूर्ण शासी निकाय की मंजूरी के बिना कोई वित्तीय निर्णय न लें, जिसमें जीएनसीटीडी का पर्याप्त प्रतिनिधित्व हो।
