प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने दिल्ली की अब रद्द हो चुकी आबकारी नीति से जुड़े धन शोधन के एक मामले में दिल्ली सरकार के मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत को शनिवार को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया है। आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने यह जानकारी दी। नजफगढ़ से आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के विधायक गहलोत (49) मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व वाली दिल्ली सरकार में परिवहन, गृह और कानून मंत्री हैं। सूत्रों ने कहा कि गहलोत को मामले में पूछताछ के लिए उपस्थित होने और धन शोधन निवारण अधिनियम (पीएमएलए) के तहत अपना बयान दर्ज कराने के लिए कहा गया है।
यह मामला 2021-22 के लिए दिल्ली सरकार की आबकारी नीति को तैयार करने और क्रियान्वित करने में कथित भ्रष्टाचार और धन शोधन से जुड़ा है। दिल्ली सरकार की विवादित आबकारी नीति को बाद में रद्द कर दिया गया था। इस मामले में आप नेता मनीष सिसोदिया और संजय सिंह को ईडी ने पहले गिरफ्तार किया था और वे न्यायिक हिरासत में हैं। दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को ईडी ने धनशोधन मामले में 21 मार्च को गिरफ्तार किया था और बृहस्पतिवार को एक अदालत ने ईडी की उनकी हिरासत एक अप्रैल तक बढ़ा दी।
