उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने रविवार को अपील की कि केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) को आबकारी नीति मामले में उनसे पूछताछ फरवरी के आखिरी हफ्ते तक टाल देनी चाहिए क्योंकि वह दिल्ली के बजट को अंतिम रूप देने में व्यस्त हैं। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इस मामले में आरोपपत्र दाखिल किये जाने के करीब तीन महीने बाद सिसोदिया को रविवार को पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि सीबीआई सिसोदिया के अनुरोध पर गौर कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि दिल्ली सरकार के वित्त विभाग का प्रभार संभालने वाले सिसोदिया ने कहा कि वह एक सप्ताह बाद पूछताछ के लिए उपलब्ध हो पायेंगे।
सिसोदिया ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, ”मैंने सीबीआई को पत्र लिखा है और फरवरी के आखिरी हफ्ते तक के लिए समय मांगा है क्योंकि मैं दिल्ली के बजट को अंतिम रूप दे रहा हूं और यह एक अहम वक्त है। मैंने उनसे कहा है कि मैं फरवरी के आखिरी हफ्ते के बाद आऊंगा। उन्होंने कहा, ”बतौर वित्त मंत्री बजट समय से पेश करना मेरा कर्तव्य है और मैं उसके लिए दिन-रात काम कर रहा हूं।
मैंने सीबीआई से फरवरी के आखिरी सप्ताह के बाद प्रश्नों का उत्तर देने की अनुमति देने का अनुरोध किया है। आबकारी विभाग का भी कामकाज देख रहे आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार के नेता सिसोदिया से इससे पहले पिछले साल 17 अक्टूबर को भी इस मामले में पूछताछ की गयी थी तथा उनके घर एवं बैंक लॉकर की तलाशी ली गयी थी। आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के नेता सिसोदिया को आरोपपत्र में बतौर आरोपी नामजद किया गया है तथा उनके एवं अन्य संदिग्धों के खिलाफ जांच अभी जारी है।
