नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने बुधवार को कथित आबकारी घोटाले से संबंधित एक धनशोधन मामले में आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के नेताओं –मनीष सिसोदिया और संजय सिंह की न्यायिक हिरासत 20 जनवरी तक के लिए बढ़ा दी। विशेष न्यायाधीश एम के नागपाल ने सिंह को 12 जनवरी को राज्यसभा के लिए फिर निर्वाचित होने की स्थिति में अपना चुनाव प्रमाणपत्र लेने के लिए निर्वाचन अधिकारी के पास जाने की अनुमति भी दे दी। संभावना है कि सिंह और आप के दो अन्य प्रत्याशी दिल्ली विधानसभा में पार्टी का प्रचंड बहुमत होने के कारण राज्यसभा के लिए निर्विरोध निर्वाचित हो जाएंगे।
अदालत ने सिंह के आवेदन पर यह आदेश दिया। सिंह ने इस आवेदन में अदालत से जेल प्रशासन को उन्हें प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त करने के वास्ते निर्वाचन अधिकारी के पास ले जाने का निर्देश देने का अनुरोध किया था। बारह जनवरी इस चुनाव में नाम वापस लेने का आखिरी दिन है। इस बीच, अदालत ने सह आरोपी और सिंह के करीबी सर्वेश मिश्रा को अंतरिम जमानत दे दी तथा नियमित जमानत के वास्ते उनके आवेदन पर सुनवाई की तारीख 20 जनवरी तय की। मिश्रा को पांचवें पूरक आरोपपत्र में आरोपी के रूप में नामजद किया गया था। दिल्ली सरकार ने 17 नवंबर, 2021 को आबकारी नीति लागू की थी लेकिन भ्रष्टाचार के आरोपों के बीच सितंबर, 2022 के आखिर तक उसे निरस्त कर दिया था।
जांच एजेंसियों के मुताबिक नयी आबकारी नीति में थोक विक्रेताओं के लिए मनमाने तरीके से लाभ का अंतर पांच प्रतिशत से बढ़ाकर 12 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया था। केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (सीबीआई) और प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने आरोप लगाया है कि नयी नीति से व्यापारियों का एक ‘कार्टल’ बना तथा शराब लाइसेंस के लिए अपात्र लोगों को आर्थिक लाभ के बदले फायदा पहुंचाया गया। लेकिन दिल्ली सरकार एवं पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने किसी भी गड़बड़ी से इनकार किया और कहा कि नयी नीति से राजस्व में वृद्धि हुई।
