नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) चुनाव के लिए 1,100 से अधिक नामांकन पत्र जांच के बाद खारिज कर दिए गए हैं। आधिकारिक आंकड़ों से यह जानकारी मिली। जानकारी के अनुसार कांग्रेस के उम्मीदवारों की संख्या 250 से नीचे हो गई है। चार दिसंबर को होने वाले मतदान के लिए कुल 2,021 उम्मीदवारों ने नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किए थे। आंकड़ों के अनुसार रात 10 बजे तक वैध नामांकन पत्रों की संख्या 1,405 थी, जबकि 1,115 को खारिज कर दिया गया।
कांग्रेस के वैध नामांकनों की संख्या 243 थी जबकि 405 नामांकन किए गए थे। आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के लिए संबंधित आंकड़े क्रमशः 255 (कुल नामांकन 728) और 252 (कुल नामांकन 654) थे। सूत्रों ने कहा कि 65 नामांकन पत्रों की स्थिति अभी लंबित है। उन्होंने कहा कि बृहस्पतिवार को रिटर्निंग अधिकारियों द्वारा लंबित आवेदनों की जांच की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्य रूप से अधूरे फॉर्म, गायब हलफनामे, कई नामांकन, वैध जाति प्रमाण पत्र जमा न करना और अमान्य फॉर्म आदि की वजहों से नामांकन पत्र अस्वीकृत किए जाते हैं।
