प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी रविवार को वीडियो कांफ्रेंस के माध्यम से ‘जयपुर महाखेल’ के प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित करेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (पीएमओ) ने कहा कि जयपुर ग्रामीण से लोकसभा सांसद एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री राज्यवर्धन सिंह राठौर 2017 से राजस्थान की राजधानी में लगातार इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करते आए हैं। ‘जयपुर महाखेल’, जो इस साल कबड्डी प्रतियोगिता पर केंद्रित है, 12 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर शुरू हुआ था।
इसमें जयपुर ग्रामीण के तहत आने वाले सभी आठ विधानसभा क्षेत्रों की 450 से अधिक ग्राम पंचायतों, नगर पालिकाओं और वार्डों के 6,400 से ज्यादा युवाओं और खिलाड़ियों की भागीदारी देखी गई है। पीएमओ ने कहा, “महाखेल जयपुर के युवाओं को अपनी खेल प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर देता है। यह उन्हें खेल को करियर विकल्प के रूप में अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित भी करता है।
