राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में सोमवार को लोगों के दिन की शुरुआत भीषण गर्मी से हुई। शहर में न्यूनतम तापमान 29.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया, जो सामान्य से दो डिग्री अधिक है। मौसम विज्ञान विभाग के अनुसार, दिल्ली में सुबह साढ़े आठ बजे हवा में आर्द्रता का स्तर 62 प्रतिशत रहा। हालांकि, यहां दिन में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने और गरज के साथ छींटे पड़ने के आसार हैं। विभाग के मुताबिक, दिल्ली में अधिकतम तापमान के 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आसपास रहने की संभावना है।
‘स्काईमेट वेदर’ में मौसम विज्ञान एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन के उपाध्यक्ष महेश पलावत ने ट्वीट किया, दिल्ली में 16 जून को अधिकतम तापमान 40.2 डिग्री सेल्सियस था। उसके बाद से पारा लगातार 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस से नीचे बना रहा। पलावत ने कहा, 25 जून को अधिकतम तापमान एक बार फिर 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस के पार पहुंच गया। 28 जून से दिल्ली सहित पूरे उत्तर भारत में बारिश की गतिविधियां शुरू हो सकती हैं, जिससे तापमान में गिरावट संभव है।
वहीं, दिल्ली में सोमवार सुबह वायु गुणवत्ता ‘मध्यम’ श्रेणी में रही। सुबह नौ बजकर पांच मिनट पर वायु गुणवत्ता सूचकांक (एक्यूआई) 127 दर्ज किया गया। शून्य से 50 के बीच एक्यूआई ‘अच्छा’, 51 से 100 के बीच ‘संतोषजनक’, 101 से 200 के बीच ‘मध्यम’, 201 से 300 के बीच ‘खराब’, 301 से 400 के बीच ‘बहुत खराब’ और 401 से 500 के बीच ‘गंभीर’ माना जाता है।
