दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिल्ली के आरके पुरम इलाके में रविवार सुबह हमलावरों ने दो महिलाओं की कथित तौर पर गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि मृत महिलाओं की पहचान पिंकी (30) और ज्योति (29) के तौर पर हुई है। उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों महिलाओं के भाई ने तड़के चार बजकर 40 मिनट के आसपास पुलिस को फोन कर बताया कि उसकी बहनों को आंबेडकर बस्ती में गोली मार दी गई है।
पुलिस उपायुक्त (दक्षिण-पश्चिम) मनोज सी ने कहा, प्राप्त सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए हमारा पुलिस दल मौके पर पहुंचा और पाया कि दो महिलाओं को गोली लगी है। उन्हें एसजे अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां उनकी मौत हो गई। मनोज सी ने बताया कि प्रारंभिक जांच में पता चला है कि हमलावर पीड़ितों के भाई के पीछे पड़े थे और उनमें पैसों को लेकर कोई विवाद था। उन्होंने कहा, ”हमने भारतीय दंड संहिता (आईपीसी) की प्रासंगिक धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। संदिग्धों को पकड़ने के लिए मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
