केंद्रीय मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने शनिवार को कहा कि कांग्रेस भ्रमित है और उसके पास लोगों के लिए कोई एजेंडा नहीं है। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) अपने दम पर तीसरी बार राज्य में सरकार बनायेगी। पंचकूला में पार्टी की विस्तारित प्रदेश कार्यकारिणी की बैठक के पहले सत्र के बाद प्रधान ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि भाजपा अक्टूबर में होने वाले हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनाव अपने दम पर लड़ेगी। राज्य में आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव की रणनीति पर चर्चा के लिए बुलाई गई बैठक शनिवार को पंचकूला में शुरू हुई। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने दूसरे सत्र में बैठक को संबोधित किया।
प्रधान ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि राज्य में पिछले दो विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान लोगों ने भाजपा में अपना विश्वास जताया था। उन्होंने कहा, ”हमारा मानना है कि विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद हरियाणा में भाजपा तीसरी बार सरकार बनाएगी।” उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा देश की आर्थिक वृद्धि को गति प्रदान करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 2047 तक विकसित भारत का सपना देखा है और हरियाणा इसमें बड़ी भूमिका निभाने जा रहा है। आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर उन्होंने कहा कि यह ”सत्ता वापसी चुनाव” होने जा रहा है और लोग 2005 से 2014 तक की सरकारों और 2014 से 2024 तक की सरकारों की तुलना करेंगे। हरियाणा में 2005 से 2014 तक कांग्रेस सत्ता में थी। भाजपा की राज्य कार्यकारिणी की बैठक का जिक्र करते हुए प्रधान ने कहा कि एक राजनीतिक प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया और मोदी को तीसरा कार्यकाल देने के लिए हरियाणा की जनता का आभार व्यक्त किया गया।
