पंजाब की संगरूर और उत्तर प्रदेश की रामपुर तथा आजमगढ़ लोकसभा सीट और चार राज्यों की सात विधानसभा सीटों पर उपचुनाव के लिए मतदान 23 जून को कराए जाएंगे। इसके लिए अधिसूचना 30 मई को जारी की जाएगी। निर्वाचन आयोग के अनुसार लोकसभा की तीन सीटों के अलावा दिल्ली की राजेंद्र नगर, झारखंड की मांडर (अ. सू. ज.) आंध्र प्रदेश की अतमाकुर और त्रिपुरा की अगरतला, बारडोली टाउन, सुरमा (अनुसूचित जाति) और युवराज नगर सीटों पर उपचुनाव के लिए नामांकन छह जून तक किए जा सकेंगे। सात जून को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच की जाएगी और नौ जून तक नाम वापस लिए जा सकेंगे। इन उपचुनाव के लिए मतदान 23 जून को ईवीएम के जरिए कराया जाएगा और मतगणना 26 जून को होगी। इन उपचुनाव को प्रक्रिया 28 जून तक पूरी करा ली जाएगी।
