पार्टी की तरफ से महापौर पद की उम्मीदवार के तौर पर शैली ओबेरॉय का नाम तय हुआ है जबकि उपमहापौर पद के लिए ‘आप’ के विधायक शोएब इकबाल के बेटे उम्मीदवार आले मोहम्मद इकबाल का नाम सामने आया है। स्थायी समिति के लिए चुने गए चार नाम रमिंदर कौर, सारिका चौधरी, मोहिनी जीनवाल और मोहम्मद आमिल मलिक हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि सात दिसंबर को ‘आप’ ने दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) की 250 में से 134 सीट पर जीत हासिल करके भाजपा के 15 साल तक चले शासन पर विराम लगा दिया था।
