भारत में एक दिन में कोविड-19 के 2,323 नए मामले सामने आने से देश में कोरोना वायरस से अब तक संक्रमित हो चुके लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 4,31,34,145 हो गई है। वहीं, उपचाराधीन मरीजों की संख्या घटकर 14,996 रह गई है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के शनिवार सुबह आठ बजे तक अद्यतन आंकड़ों के अनुसार, संक्रमण से 25 और मरीजों के जान गंवाने से मृतकों की संख्या बढ़कर 5,24,348 पर पहुंच गई है। वहीं, उपचाराधीन मरीजों की संख्या संक्रमण के कुल मामलों का 0.03 प्रतिशत है, जबकि कोविड-19 से स्वस्थ होने वालों की राष्ट्रीय दर 98.75 फीसदी है।
मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, बीते 24 घंटे में कोविड-19 के उपचाराधीन मरीजों की संख्या में 48 की कमी दर्ज की गई है। मंत्रालय ने बताया कि संक्रमण की दैनिक दर 0.47 प्रतिशत, साप्ताहिक दर 0.51 प्रतिशत है। वहीं, देश में कोविड-19 से उबरने वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 4,25,94,801 हो गई है, जबकि मृत्यु दर 1.22 प्रतिशत है। मंत्रालय ने बताया कि देशव्यापी कोविड-19 रोधी टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत अब तक 192.12 करोड़ से अधिक खुराक दी जा चुकी हैं।
गौरतलब है कि देश में सात अगस्त 2020 को कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित मरीजों की संख्या 20 लाख, 23 अगस्त 2020 को 30 लाख और पांच सितंबर 2020 को 40 लाख से अधिक हो गई थी। संक्रमण के कुल मामले 16 सितंबर 2020 को 50 लाख, 28 सितंबर 2020 को 60 लाख, 11 अक्टूबर 2020 को 70 लाख, 29 अक्टूबर 2020 को 80 लाख और 20 नवंबर 2020 को 90 लाख के पार चले गए थे। देश में 19 दिसंबर 2020 को ये मामले एक करोड़ से अधिक हो गए थे। पिछले साल चार मई को संक्रमितों की संख्या दो करोड़ और 23 जून 2021 को तीन करोड़ के पार पहुंच गई थी। इस साल 26 जनवरी को मामले चार करोड़ के पार हो गए थे।
आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, जिन 25 और मरीजों की कोरोना वायरस के कारण मौत हुई है, उनमें से 23 की केरल में तथा उत्तर प्रदेश और मिजोरम में एक-एक मरीज की मृत्यु हुई है। स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने बताया कि अब तक जिन लोगों की कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण से मौत हुई है, उनमें से 70 प्रतिशत से अधिक मरीजों को अन्य बीमारियां भी थीं। मंत्रालय ने अपनी वेबसाइट पर बताया कि उसके आंकड़ों का भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएमआर) के आंकड़ों के साथ मिलान किया जा रहा है।
