राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के पश्चिमी इलाके में मुंडका मेट्रो स्टेशन के पास स्थित तीन मंजिला व्यावसायिक इमारत में शुक्रवार शाम आग लग गयी जिससे इस हादसे में कम से कम 26 लोगों की मौत हो गयी और 12 अन्य झुलस गये। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी।
पुलिस ने बताया कि इमारत से 50 से अधिक लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाला गया है। दमकल विभाग के अधिकारियों के अनुसार आग लगने की सूचना उन्हें शाम 4.45 बजे मिली जिसके बाद 30 से अधिक दमकल गाड़ियों को मौके पर भेजा गया। यह आग मुंडका मेट्रो स्टेशन के पिलर नंबर 544 के निकट लगी। दिल्ली के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने रात दस बजकर 50 मिनट पर ट्वीट किया कि आग पर काबू पा लिया गया है।
