कांग्रेस की उत्तर प्रदेश की प्रभारी महासचिव प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा ने कहा है कि सरकार राज्यों के लिए गेहूं का कोटा घटा कर गरीब से रोटियां छीनने का काम कर रही है। प्रियंका वाड्रा ने कहा सारी कटौती गरीबों के लिए ही क्यों। भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) सरकार ने आटा महंगा कर गरीबों की पहुंच से बाहर कर दिया और अब ‘राशन’ के झोले से भी गरीबों का गेहूँ छीनने की तैयारी है।
कुछ दिनों पहले तक पूरे वश्वि का पेट भरने का दावा और अब देश के लोगों के लिए ही गेहूँ का कोटा कम क्यों कर रही है सरकार। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने एक खबर भी पोस्ट की है जिसमें लिखा हे कि अगले माह से उत्तर प्रदेश में लोगों को मुफ्त में गेहूँ की जगह चावल मिलेगा। इसकी वजह यह है कि केंद्र सरकार ने उत्तर प्रदेश सहित कई राज्यों को मिलने वाले गेहूँ के कोटे को बहुत कम कर दिया है और कहा जा रहा है कि गेहूँ की जगह अब चावल का कोटा बढ़ाया जाएगा।
