दिल्ली में सरकार अगर किराया संशोधन समिति की सिफारिशों को स्वीकार करती है तो राजधानी में ऑटो और टैक्सियों में यात्रा करना और महंगा हो सकता है। समिति ने अपनी सिफारिशों में किराये में वृद्धि का प्रस्ताव दिया है। सूत्रों ने इसकी जानकारी दी। सूत्रों ने बताया कि ऑटो-रिक्शा और टैक्सियों के किराए में संशोधन करने वाली दिल्ली सरकार की इस समिति ने तिपहिया वाहनों के लिए प्रति किलोमीटर एक रुपये और टैक्सियों के किराए में 60 प्रतिशत तक की बढ़ोतरी की सिफारिश की है। ईंधन की बढ़ती कीमतों के बीच, दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले महीने ऑटो और टैक्सियों के किराए में संशोधन के लिए एक समिति का गठन किया था। इस समिति ने अपनी रिपोर्ट दिल्ली सरकार के परिवहन मंत्री कैलाश गहलोत को सौंप दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि समिति ने अपनी इस रिपोर्ट में किराया बढाने की सिफारिश की है। रिपोर्ट में की गयी सिफारिशों पर कबिनेट में चर्चा होगी।
