Hijab Controversy: दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूल की एक छात्रा ने आरोप लगाया कि स्कूल में उससे हिजाब उतारने को कहा गया। छात्रा ने यह बात एक वीडियो में कही जो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो गया है। हिजाब पहने छात्रा ने वीडियो में कहा, शिक्षकों ने मुझसे कक्षा में स्कार्फ पहनकर नहीं आने को कहा। कहा गया कि अपनी मां की तरह मत बनो, और स्कार्फ पहनकर स्कूल मत आओ। दो-तीन और लड़कियां थीं जिन्हें स्कार्फ उतारने को कहा गया।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, स्कूल प्रशासन ने इस मुद्दे पर छात्रा के अभिभावकों से बातचीत कर इसे सौहार्दपूर्ण तरीके से सुलझा लिया। इस संबंध में एक सूत्र ने कहा, ”दिल्ली के सभी सरकारी स्कूलों में पिछले कई दशकों से यही परंपरा रही है कि अगर कोई लड़की रास्ते में हिजाब या स्कार्फ पहनकर भी स्कूल आती है तो स्कूल परिसर में प्रवेश करने के बाद, कक्षा में जाने से पहले छात्रा को उसे उतारना होता है। उन्होंने कहा, इस मामले में लड़की जब स्कूल परिसर के भीतर पहुंच गई तो शिक्षकों ने उससे मौजूदा परंपरा के तहत स्कार्फ हटाने को कहा। बाद में स्कूल प्रशासन ने मामले पर उसके माता-पिता के साथ चर्चा की और इसे सौहार्दपूर्ण तरीके से सुलझा लिया।
