नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने बृहस्पतिवार को कहा कि दिल्ली और इसके आसपास के इलाकों में सड़कों, राजमार्गों और एक्सप्रेसवे के निर्माण के लिए 65,000 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं पर काम चल रहा है। गडकरी ने लोकसभा में एक पूरक प्रश्न के उत्तर में कहा कि दिल्ली के अक्षरधाम मंदिर को देहरादून से जोड़ने वाले एक्सप्रेसवे पर काम शुरू हो गया है। उन्होंने कहा, ”एक बार यह पूरा हो जाने पर, दिल्ली से देहरादून पहुंचने में केवल दो घंटे और हरिद्वार पहुंचने में डेढ़ घंटे लगेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा, दिल्ली और उसके आसपास के इलाकों में 65,000 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से (सड़क निर्माण) काम चल रहे हैं। हमने पहले ही मेरठ तक एक एक्सप्रेसवे का निर्माण कर लिया है। मुजफ्फरनगर को जोड़ने के लिए भी काम चल रहा है। गडकरी ने कहा कि दिल्ली के चारों ओर एक पेरिफेरल मार्ग बनाने का काम भी चल रहा है। एक अन्य पूरक प्रश्न के उत्तर में उन्होंने कहा कि पुणे से औरंगाबाद ‘हरित मार्ग’ तैयार किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि इसे बीओटी (बनाओ, चलाओ और हस्तांतरित करो) के आधार पर तैयार किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने राजस्थान स्थित खाटू श्याम जी मंदिर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं की बढ़ती संख्या को ध्यान में रखकर एक रिंग रोड बनाने का आश्वासन भी दिया।
