दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने कथित आबकारी नीति घोटाले से जुड़े धन शोधन के एक मामले में समन पर पेश न होने को लेकर प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) द्वारा दर्ज करायी दो शिकायतों के मामले में मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को शनिवार को जमानत दे दी। अतिरिक्त मुख्य मेट्रोपोलिटन मजिस्ट्रेट दिव्या मल्होत्रा की अदालत ने केजरीवाल को अदालत कक्ष से जाने की अनुमति भी दे दी। अदालत ने कहा, ‘अपराध जमानती होने के कारण आरोपी अरविंद केजरीवाल को जमानत दी जाती है।’ अदालत ने ईडी को केजरीवाल को शिकायतों से जुड़े दस्तावेज भी सौंपने का निर्देश दिया।
ईडी ने मजिस्ट्रेट अदालत में दो शिकायतें दर्ज कराते हुए इस मामले में केजरीवाल को जारी कई समन पर पेश होने के लिए उन पर अभियोग चलाने का अनुरोध किया था। ताजा शिकायत धन शोधन रोकथाम कानून (पीएमएलए) की धारा 50 के तहत संघीय जांच एजेंसी द्वारा भेजे समन संख्या 4 से 8 का आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक केजरीवाल द्वारा सम्मान न करने जुड़ी है। ईडी ने इससे पहले मजिस्ट्रेट अदालत का रुख करके अब रद्द की जा चुकी दिल्ली आबकारी नीति से जुड़े धन शोधन मामले में केजरीवाल को जारी पहले तीन समन पर पेश न होने के लिए उन पर मुकदमा चलाने का अनुरोध किया था।
