दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने शनिवार को कहा कि उनकी सरकार अपने ”देशभक्ति बजट’ के तहत शहर भर में 500 तिरंगे लगाएगी, जिनकी देखभाल के लिए स्वयंसेवक आधारित समितियां बनाई गई हैं। केजरीवाल के मुताबिक, प्रत्येक तिरंगा सम्मान समिति अपने साथ 1,000 युवा स्वयंसेवकों को जोड़ेगी, जो समाज कल्याण से जुड़े कार्यों के लिए प्रतिबद्ध होंगे। त्यागराज स्टेडियम में तिरंगा सम्मान समिति के स्वयंसेवकों को संबोधित करने के लिए आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, दिल्ली में पांच सदस्यीय तिरंगा सम्मान समिति संबंधित स्थान पर प्रत्येक तिरंगे की स्थिति पर नजर रखेगी। तिरंगा सम्मान समिति पीडब्ल्यूडी अधिकारियों को बताएगी कि धूल, तूफान या प्रदूषण के कारण किसी तिरंगे को कोई नुकसान तो नहीं पहुंचा है।
केजरीवाल ने कहा कि ये समितियां अपने-अपने क्षेत्र में 1,000 स्वयंसेवकों को जोड़ेंगी, जो देश की सेवा और समाज कल्याण की दिशा में काम करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा, ”इन स्वयंसेवकों को पांच कर्तव्य सौंपे जाएंगे। उनके क्षेत्र में कोई भी भूखे पेट न सोए, कोई भी बच्चा स्कूल जाने से वंचित न रहे, जरूरतमंदों को चिकित्सा सहायता सुनिश्चित की जाए, कोई भी बेघर सड़कों पर न रहे और संबंधित क्षेत्रों में साफ-सफाई हो। केजरीवाल ने बताया कि दिल्ली में फिलहाल अलग-अलग जगहों पर 200 तिरंगे लगाए जा चुके हैं और 15 अगस्त तक सभी 500 तिरंगे लगा लिए जाएंगे। दिल्ली सरकार ने पिछले साल अपने ‘देशभक्ति बजट’ के तहत पूरे शहर में 115 फीट की ऊंचाई वाले 500 तिरंगे लगाने की घोषणा की थी।
